Reminisce Radio

REMINISCE RADIO is for the mature, sophisticated and discerning mind.  For those of you who grew up in the Big Band Era or are adult children of that age group, this is the show for you.  Drew Laney hosts and plays songs from the 1920’s through the early 1950’s, adding occasional bits of history and trivia, so you can exercise your brain and  be reminded of some of your favorite times.
You’ll enjoy such music greats as Glen Miller, Ella Fitzgerald, Fred Astaire (singing and dancing), Nat King Cole, and so many more.  Do you know who wrote ‘Happy Trails”? Well, if your first guess was Roy Rogers, you’re very close, but it was his sweet wife Dale Evans.
Did you know that Pearl Bailey had a big brother named Bill?  Right.  Bill Bailey, as in  “Won’t You Come Home Bill Bailey”. And who are the only performers accepted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame in Cooperstown?  Good guess! Abbot & Costello for “Who’s On First?”.
